We had altogether 3 gatherings for Shinhwa changjo forums in singapore, i din go for the 1st cos i was having exams n stuff..so me and liqing went for the 2nd and 3rd M's gathering to take a group photo to show our support for M's (lee minwoo of shinhwa) 2nd jib, M 'IInd WINDS'. well dis is a project to boost M's 2nd jib sales up..and encourage him to do better, in my opinion, also to bring fans from the same country together as one...similarly, other places lyk NYC, Nor Cal, LA, Toronto, sydney, melbroune and many other parts of the world hu has members frm SHCJ forums r organising a gathering for idividual countries or states..so i met up wif the other fans for the 2nd gathering on 19/10/05..unfortunately, only 9 turned up including me and liqing..the make it worse..it was raining and we met up kinda late so its dark n evryting..but nevertheless it was worth it..anyting for minwoo. haha. here's the picx:

Becos the previous phototaking session wasnt very successful..it was decided that another one was held..in hope of getting more ppl to join it dis time...the 2nd one was on the 29/10/05..it was HOT that day..(thk god no rain n clouds!) AND we had 20 ppl! x)))

well so thats it! hhaa..enjoyed ourselves lah..made some new frens oso..will be looking forward to the next gathering!(if my mum allows)

okie so my studies suck..in my quest to preserve my shinhwa stuff. im studying lyk shit rite now...but i jus cant understand any crap frm the f* textbks or wadeva..IM Dumb. so wad.
im stressed ...lyk crazy...do my parents noe? no. their arguement is pissing me off big time. do they noe? no. they jus claim tt they understand me..or rather they tink they understand me. lets jus say tts pure crap. they dun even noe if im happie or not. as long as im using the computer. they think im relaxing..im sooo happie. RIGHT. crap again.
life jus sucks. evryting isnt right....evryting ...even myself..

okie...heres a lil bit abt how shinhwa came abt..and how they came tgt..

Shin Hyesung (Steve Jung Pil Kyo) is the first member of Shinhwa. He auditioned for a spot in the band while he was in America and made it in as the first member. He is also the Lead Vocal for the six-man band. He was a member of another popular three member band, 'Group S' from September 2003 to January 2004, with their hit song being 'I Swear', during the time when Shinhwa members all went off on seperate directions to persure solo activities (Shinhwa did not break up though). He brought out the best of the other two members in 'Group S' and returns to the studio with Shinhwa to record their seventh album. Shin Hyesung is now having a successful debut solo album.

Andy (Lee Sun Ho) is the second member of Shinhwa. He was originally planning to be a member of H.O.T (another Korean boy band) with his friend, Tony An. However, his parents did not let him join H.O.T because they thought he was too young. When he was older, they let him joined Shinhwa. During the year when Shinhwa members went off doing seperate solo activities, Andy surprised everyone by choosing the route of an actor. He really shows his more comical and humourous side through acting. He was a fixed guest on SBS's Real Situation Saturday and was MCing with Junjin on SBS's Beautiful Sunday.

Eric (Mun Jung Hyuk) is the leader of Shinhwa, but is the third member to join Shinhwa. He joined around the same time that Andy did; not really sure how he did, but he did. He mostly raps in songs and is best in English. Eric has also modelled clothing before and was featured in magazines wearing brands of clothing. He's the one that most people look to as a male role model. During the year of seperate activities, each Shinhwa member took a different direction, and Eric went off in the direction of acting (which would make sense since he has a major in dramatic arts). He was in the movie "I Run" in November 2003 and in March works on "Fire Bird" very hard; in fact he had collapsed from stress while filming before.

Before becoming famous and all that, Lee Minwoo lived his life quite normally. At age 18, he was a student at JunJoo Fine Arts School. He had also attended Dae Jhun University and gotten music major 2nd year there.Minwoo is the fourth member of Shinhwa. He was first 'discovered' in 1997 performing at an Everland dancing competition with his dancing team, Dicky Ducky. SM, a recording label, had a scout at that competition and Minwoo caught his attention with his talent and offered him a chance to audition, which Minwoo did very well in and was accepted into Shinhwa.In 2003, after Shinhwa signed a new contract with thier new recording label, Good Entertainment, Minwoo decided to launch a solo album. His new identity with this solo album is simply just 'M'. His new album is based more on all hip hop of American style. Minwoo is currently going to film in Nonstop 5.

Kim Dongwan is the fifth member of Shinhwa. He joined the group after seeing a preview video with the first four members of Shinhwa in it. He is described as a type of person who is very 'disciplined and he's the type who doesn't give up easily. He puts 100% effort in his work'.During that year when Shinhwa members went off to do seperate activities, Dongwan headed off in the direction of acting and is becoming a very good actor. In 2002, he was an actor with "Heaven's Children" and from there moved to the movie industry, beginning with a film titled, "Spin Kick". Dongwan is currently featured in SBS drama series 'goodbye sadness' and doing MC-ing for shows.

Junjin (Park Choong Jae) is the last member of Shinhwa. He was the sixth person to join. He got in through an audition. His friend, KangTa (ex-H.O.T. member) introduced him to the audition and he got in. During the year of seperate activities, Junjin went in the direction of acting, just like some of the other Shinhwa members. He was first cast on MBC's sitcom in October, 'Nonstop 4'. He got many compliments and praises about his acting abilities and now is working on KBS' mini-series "Ku Mi Ho Wae Jon". Junjin hasalso hosted for KBS and SBS and guest-starred in many different programs.

cry cry*...i noe i beli long nv update le..i had sec 3 camp...and nco camp...for the sec 3 camp beli fun..if u wana noe the details..go liqing's blog and see...VERY detailed..haha..for the nco camp...it wasnt as bad as i tot..and FREAKIN hell.. i passed my test! o_0 the nco camp...one bad ting..no time to bathe..i mean..they did give us time and evryting but...ppl were using the toilet..so WE din get to even touch the water...so we stayed sticky for 3days 2 nites..horrible.. cant slp..

okies..u must be tinking..wads the cry cry* ting all abt? okies.. recently i got to noe some bad news...shinhwa's going to the army! serve the country...*sniff* so proud of dem...but it also means..leaving behind their career! ahh... i mean..hu noes wad will happen after 2 yrs wifout contact wif the media? okie..so they promised to make a comeback and to come back as a grp..tt i noe 4 sure..they'll keep their promise..but after tt? after the 9th album after the army? i jus have a bad feeling..tt they'll disband..okie..not realli disband..but lyk...go solo .. no more shinhwa..

i read on a lot of posts on soompi.com/forums..so touching..the fans dere r sooo loyal. the words they used to express their loyalty is jus..so strong..okie..so i sound corny..but its true..u shld go read it..im so proud of dem and my shinhwa! lolx.

Also..their health (shinhwa) has been worsening...first they take turns to fall reaallli sick. den hyesung has dis throat prob...den his knee is so bad he cant be enrolled in the army.(he got the injury frm dancing..)..and yes! hes still dancing...and Junjin...his right eye is almost blind..and hes still performing...den dongwan..hes got a nose surguery lately due to nasal probs...they say he has dis bone in his nose..making it hard for him to breathe (poor dongwan oppa...no wonder he always looks so breathless wen he performs! =( ) den now...minwoo...ankle injury...dancing oso...i jus watched dis vid our him lying on the bed in the hospital..he looked so sick..and tired..and he even tried to bow..haix...he was speaking korean..so i dun realli understand..but he said someting lyk telling us to take care of ourselves (hes sick and hes still tinking of the fans!) and someting abt him being grateful for our support/concern (nt sure) and stuff....

tts the ting i lyk abt dem..they respond to their fans..well..in a way..they care abt us..tts so kool and so sweet. hope they all get well soon! they gotta be fit to go for army service! hu noes..mayb they'll come back 2 yrs later..buffer! haha

The world was first introduced to the phenomenon that is Shinhwa in 1998, when this group of six guys - Eric, Dongwan, Minwoo, Hyesung, Andy and Junjin - released their first album. Since then, they;ve survived the K-pop market linke no one else has. While other K-pop groups like HOT and SES have failed to maintain their popularity, Shinhwa have succeeded not only in staying popular, buh have also cast their net on other countries like USA, Taiwan and even Singapore!

It might have taken six long years for this day to come, buh SHinhwa finally desceded on the shores of Singapore for the first time early last month for the Euphoria 2004 Concert, as part of the birthday celebration of a local company. Performing with likes of Machi, Shin, Michael Learns To Rock and All 4 One, the six Korean hotties strut their stuff onstange with sexy dancers, driving the crowd absolutely WILD.

The group also took the chance to meet the press, chatting about their lives, ove and music - they've just released their first album in almost two years, Vol 7: Brand New. The round-table interview was held at nine in the evening, the day before their performance. Rushing down after their soundcheck, the boys were friendly and obliging despite their packed schedule, answering most questions with the help of a translator. [Except for Minwoo, who was preoccupied with a stain on his pristine white paints.] "there were lots of fans at the airport when we arrived, and they gave us a very warm welcome. We're very grateful for their support," Hyesung said humbly, when asked how they felt about coming to Singapore.

So what did the guys have to say about their new album? And what do they like to do in their free time? teens finds out!

teens: you've written or composed almost half the songs on your new album Vol 7: Brand New, so does that make the album closest to who Shinhwa realli is?

Hyesung: (firmly) Definitely. This album is very close to who Shinhwa is. We had a change of manageement before we started work on this album, and a lot of our personal opinions and ideas were taken into account when we were planning and producing the album. We are very satisfied with this release.

Will there come a day when there;s a Shinhwa album that's wholly written and composed by you?

Hyesung: Someday, we hope.

Dongwan: (Laughs) But there's no telling about whether the album will be a success! Ha ha! That will remain to be seen.

Your image and styling seems to be growing older and more mature with each album. Is there a particular fashion direction for your styling on this album?

Dongwan: The main aim for this album is to show off our power and strength as real men. That's why we've chosen to wear leather suits on the album cover.

You're so busy with your solo projects and Shinhwa, do you ever get to take a break, and what's your favourite thing to do when you do have free time?

Eric: I hardly have the time to do anything but work most of the time - when I'm busy the only other thing I do is sleep. But on my very rare days off, I like to go fishing, snowboarding, and playing computer games.

Junjin: I love sports! And hanging around at home watching television serials and DVDs.

Hyesung: I spend most of my time on sports as well - snowboarding and water-skiing are my favourites, depending on the season. If I'm hanging around at home, movies and computer games keep me occupied.

Andy: When I'm working, I have to sleep when i get the free time. But when I'm free...I like to play golf in the summer, watch DVDs in autumn, snowboard in winter, and go for dates in spring. As for the period of time between spring and summer...that's a very important period of time for me, but I haven't really decided what to do during that time. But don't worry, you'll be the first to find out when i decide! Ha ha ha! (Everybody cracks up.)

Hyesung: Er...that's just a joke. Don't mind him.

Dongwan: (Looking blankly at the translator and asks sheepishly) Er...what was the question again? ["What do you like to do in you free time?" the translator tells him.] Oh! When I'm working, I'm usually hanging around with these guys so I rarely get any peace and quiet. So when I'm free, I like to think about all kinds of things. i hope I'll get the change to do this in Singapore one day - i'll come here to relax and take a break to think about all the things I have to think about (Laughs).

Minwoo: I love music, so I'm always listening to music whenever I have a break. i'm also and adventure sports fan, and i like to hang out with my close friends for drinks and stuff.

This is a question I'm sure many of your fans would like the answer to - are any of you attached?

Dongwan: (Grins) Well. some of us are and some of us aren't. It's up to you to take a guess!

Is liking your music a prerequisite to becoming your girlfriend?

Eric: Well, it could be. It'd be better for us because we'd like them to comment on our music once in awhile.
